ENTRY RULES

Buy when Crypto Fear & Greed Index drops below 20 (Extreme Fear) | DCA over 3-5 days at Extreme Fear (do not go all-in at once) | Only buy BTC and ETH (no alts during fear) | Allocate max 25% of available capital per fear event

EXIT RULES

Sell 25% of position when index exceeds 80 (Extreme Greed) | Sell another 25% when index exceeds 90 | Keep 50% as long-term core hold | Re-enter when index drops to Extreme Fear again | Review allocation quarterly

Crypto Fear and Greed Index Strategy — Buy Fear, Sell Greed

Simple but effective: buy BTC/ETH when Crypto Fear & Greed Index drops below 20 (Extreme Fear). Sell when it rises above 80 (Extreme Greed). This is essentially buying when everyone is panicking and selling when everyone is euphoric. Over 5 years of data, this approach significantly outperformed buy and hold. The key is having dry powder ready and the discipline to buy when it feels terrible.
