Pre-Market Mover Scanner Strategy — Trading the First 30 Minutes
Every morning at 9:00 AM, scan for stocks up 4%+ in pre-market with above-average volume and a specific news catalyst. Narrow to top 3 tickers. Watch for the first 5-minute candle after open. If the stock holds above pre-market levels and makes a new high, enter. If it drops below VWAP in the first 5 minutes, skip. Most edge is captured in the first 30 minutes. 4-5 trades per week.
